Exhibition of the 140 Years Inauguration of the Douro Railway Between Caíde and Juncal.
The Exhibition of the 140 Years Inauguration of the Douro Railway Between Caíde and Juncal is an event that lasted 4 months in the end of 2018. The exhibition was the result of thorough research made by the archeologist Luís Sousa and included old related train objects, panels and canvases with the train stations photographs and facts from 140 years ago.
For this event, we designed a collection of promotional posters and muppies inspired in the old train tickets with the same color background palette. We applied black smudges and a used a typography with letterpress texture and also the little detailed of the perforated holes. These products were featured in target locations. In addition, we developed a brochure in the same color pallets that unfolds into the resumed history, challenges and sacrifices endured by those who planned and built the railway.
