Antestreia
“Antestreia”, name of the exhibition within the scope of the reopening of the new and renovated Carmen Miranda Museum, which in partnership with curator Dr. António Ponte developed his conception from graphic design, digital image processing, design of exhibition supports and exhibition furniture and a work of communication design to promote the exhibition.
From the general design of the project, including the choice of materials, planning the space and monitoring the production and preparation of the exhibition. The purpose of the exhibition was to celebrate the life and work of Carmen Miranda, an iconic artist with a career in Brazil and the United States of America and known for her career in film and music.
She is considered one of the main representatives of Brazilian culture in the world and her life and work continue to inspire generations, and this is the central theme of this exhibition at the reopening of the Carmen Miranda Museum, an attractive cultural space with a great impact on the community, contributing to the preservation and celebration of the memory of Carmen Miranda, nowadays.
